Rockefeller Center

Fewer sights are more recognizable than the ice skating rink, presided over by its golden statue of Prometheus; the neon lights of the 1930s Art Deco extravaganza, Radio City Music Hall; and the gargantuan Christmas tree that has lit midtown Manhattan for 75 years.

All are part of Rockefeller Center, which is also home to NBC studios; a huge shopping and dining concourse, landmark gardens and one of the most spectacular views – from 70 stories up at Top of the Rock Observation Deck – in Manhattan.

Two tours – the Rockefeller Center Tour and the Art and Observation Tour – explore John D. Rockefeller’s cultural vision.
